Malaysian government denies blocking Najib’s house arrest bid

KUALA LUMPUR - A purported royal document allowing jailed former prime minister Najib Razak to serve the remainder of his sentence under house arrest was never hidden, Malaysia’s communications minister said on Wednesday.
