EU condemns holding of “presidential elections” in Russian-occupied Abkhazia region

The European Union on Saturday condemned a holding of “the so called presidential elections” in Georgia’s Russian-occupied Abkhazia region in the north-west of the country on Saturday, emphasising the bloc “does not recognise the constitutional and legal framework in which they took place”.
