Woman dies after Ma On Shan hiking fall

A 61-year-old hiker died on Sunday following a fall in Ma On Shan. Police say they received a report at around 1 pm that she had fallen from a steep slope on Ngau Ngak Shan. She was sent by Government Flying Service helicopter to Eastern Hospital. She was declared dead at 7 pm.
